the wisteria
drip as lavishly
from the trellis
as Hillary's
unconscious
from her lips
plush
pale purple
blossoms
fill the air
with scent
so luscious
Maui comes
to mind
sometimes
we think
we will die
from
the beauty
of it all
or simply
from
our allergies
alone
