Beetle on Beetle
When there are blown out cirrus clouds
reflected on the windshield of
a black volkswagen beetle
in the cemetery with an orange daisy
in the vase on the dashboard
your eye is not immediately drawn
to the ladybug at the tip of a reflected branch
you might not even know you captured
a cross cultural symbol of good luck on camera
until you concentrated harder than you usually do
